Hand painted and made with terracotta, a type of earthenware made from clay-based ceramic. Each piece is manually treated, making every item unique. The Ladeira Regional collection showcases traditional Portuguese ceramics with its hand painted finish and natural terracotta clay.
Made with refractory clay, these serving plates have satisfactory heat conduction properties and retain heat for longer once heated. Terracotta clay is widely used for preparing traditional meals, cooking food with little water, and serving food. Many people find that food cooked or baked in earthenware has a richer flavor.
